About the Inn and the Innkeepers

 Independently owned, The Victorian Inn Blowing Rock, is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, by local Blowing Rock residents, Megg and Ted Henry. 

Megg and Ted moved to Blowing Rock about five years ago and instantly fell in love with the charm of the people and the community.

Previously, they both worked in the Retail industry specializing in Customer Service and Management. They also owned several businesses in Florida and Texas before selling it all and relocating to the mountains of North Carolina.

Megg was a licensed Real Estate Broker and now works at the Wesley Foundation on campus at Appalachian State University. Ted is a part-time Methodist Pastor and runs several online e-commerce businesses.

Their focus is on customer service and to offer travelers a comfortable, enjoyable, and restful stay. Beautifully appointed rooms and amenities make The Victorian Inn Blowing Rock one of Blowing Rocks most Romantic and unique desired travel destinations.

The Victorian Inn Blowing Rock offers: 
Continental Style Breakfast 
Effective July 1, 2011 the Victorian Inn Blowing Rock will offer a Continental Style breakfast with fresh brewed locally roasted coffee, fruit filled turnovers, croissants or delicious muffins and fresh fruit. Breakfast is served in our Kitchen at 9:00AM and can be enjoyed on the Rhododendron deck during the summer, in the kitchen or quietly in your room.

For those desiring a Full Breakfast we recommend  The Village Cafe (quaint and elegant) or Knights on Main (casual local fare) great spots just around the corner from the Inn!

Wireless Internet Access is available in all rooms.

We also can arrange for Special Gift Packages, Flowers, Sparkling Wine/Champagne and Chocolate Truffle Baskets, Birthday Cakes and more! 

All of our rooms are NON-Smoking Rooms.

Sorry, but we do not allow pets.

GREEN BUSINESS:  
We have a strong focus on becoming a GREEN Business and we are rapidly adopting a complete recycling, water conservation, and energy conservation program. Also, as much as is allowed by the North Carolina Health Department we will be using Fragrance Free and Toxin Free products in the Inn.

Energy: Wherever possible we have installed energy efficient CFL lighting. 
Laundry: For short stays (3 days or less) we generally do not change sheets unless specifically requested.
Towels: If you need fresh towels during your stay please let us know. Each room has 3 to 4 towels. 

When you check-in we want to respect your privacy! Most of our guests are coming to us for a Romantic get-a-way. We do not invade your privacy and come into your room during your visit unless you request us to do so!
